“Rich Young Ruler”

This song by Derek Webb almost always challenges my thinking about my lifestyle as a Christian person in America. I wanted to share it with you all in hopes that it will strike a chord with you as well. Let me know your thoughts and reactions.

Flight of the Conchords

Todd posted about this show as well, but I just cannot express to you how funny it really is. Flight of the Conchords is the name of the band on the show. The premise is that they are now in the US trying to make it as a band. To me the really funny part is the musical interludes that happen during the show. Its like a Broadway musical TV show. The following clip is from the first show. Bret & Jermaine (the band members) are at a party at their American friend Dave’s apartment. Bret has gone off to talk to a girl leaving Jermaine alone on the couch. As the crowd parts, Jermaine sees a lovely woman & thus the song begins. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
